At the invitation of Yuvsstta (Youth Strength Association in Punjab Pradesh), the CPAFFC sent a 30-member delegation organized by youths from Beijing, Tianjin, shanghai and Yunnan province to visit India from Sept.24 to Oct.4. The delegation attended 7th International Youth Peace Festival and exchanged views with youths from different countries.
This year’s Peace Festival which themed Peace, guided the youths from the world to have in-depth discussions and exchange ideas on against racial discrimination, environment protection and respect to human right. Nearly 1000 youths from more than 20 countries including China, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Malaysia, Spain, the USA, Germany, Uganda, Mauritius, attended the activities of peace festival.
Youth Festival is a great multi-lateral platform for exchanges of youths, and also a profitable channel for the CPAFFC to develop public diplomacy and promoting the friendship of the Chinese and Indian Youths. The contact between the youths will not only eliminate the misunderstanding and deepen the mutual understanding, but also cultivate the friendship of younger generation, to strengthen the foundation of the development of friendly relations between China and India.
