At the invitation of The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), a 20-people CPAFFC youth delegation headed by vice president Li Jianping attended 2nd Russian International Cultural Forum and paid goodwill visit to Russia from Sept. 22 to Oct. 2.
This delegation is a part of the project of inviting worldwide youth activists including China to visit Russia, according to the Russian President’s order. The aim of the project is to deepen the youth elites’ objective knowledge on the Russian history, culture, society and social system，thus promote their mutual understanding and friendship.

During the visit in Russia, the delegation was present at the 2nd Russian International Cultural Forum. Vice president Li Jianping made a speech at the forum. In addition, the delegation had a special meeting with G. L. Muradov, the deputy director of Rossotrudnichestvo. Muradov hoped the delegation’s visit would not only deepen the friendly cooperation with the CPAFFC, but also implement the cooperation intention the both sides had reached. What’s more, He hoped the delegation’s visit would impress the Chinese youth activists with the objective and real images of Russia. Li Jianping said, the CPAFFC was always paying great attention to develop the cooperation and exchange with Russia. He hoped this visit could realize the aim of inheriting the friendship, deepening the cooperation and trailblazing, to consolidate the foundation of the mutual understanding and cooperation.

Before the end of the visit, the delegation and Rossotrudnichestvo jointly held a news release conference at TASS. At the conference, Vice president Li Jianping said, we came with joy and went back with friendship; we came for exploring cooperation and went back with faith of cooperation; our visit was a trip full of friendship and harvest.
