On Oct., 29, 2012, CPAFFC vice-president Feng Zuoku met with and held a banquet for Ambassador Masood Khan, who was leaving his position of Pakistan’s Ambassador to China.
Ambassador Masood Khan recalled his 8 years’ diplomatic career in China and expressed his deep friendship to China and the Chinese people many times. He said, since the first time he studied his Chinese in Beijing Language & Culture University, an irrevocable relation was made between China and him. Not only himself, his family members all loved China too. It could be even said that he was a Chinese. He also said, although he was leaving for the occupation in UN, he would still keep China in his mind.
Vice-president Feng Zuoku highly praised Ambassador Masood Khan’s great contribution to China-Pakistan relation, especially the non-governmental contacts between the two countries, in his term of service. He specially mentioned Masood Khan’s strong support to Brightness Mission, China-Pakistan University Students Forum, China-Pakistan Youth Scientists China-Pakistan Forum. He hoped the ambassador could continuously promote the development of China-Pakistan relations.
After the meeting, vice president Feng Zuoku conferred the China-Pakistan Friendship Award to Masood Khan, for commending his distinguished contribution to the cause of China-Pakistan friendship.
