President Li Xiaolin met with Mr. V·V·Ratnikov, the vice president of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) on April 22.

President Li welcomed the Russian guests to visit the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC). She introduced the progress of the preparation for the meeting of local leaders between the two countries and the exchange mechanism of the elite youth delegations, which organized by the CPAFFC and Rossotrudnichestvo, as well as the cooperative willingness of holding relevant activities within the framework of China-Russia Tourism Year. President Li also requested Mr. Ratnikov to convey her greetings to President Konstantion Kosachev.

Mr. Ratnikov thanked President Li for taking time for the meeting and conveyed the sincere respects of President Konstantion Kosachev to her. He said Rossotrudnichestvo paid great attention to the meeting of the local leaders between the two countries and the youth exchange project which was being prepared together with the CPAFFC. He also expressed that the cooperation between the both sides within the framework of China-Russia Tourism Year were also with wide range and great potential.
