President Li Xiaolin met with Mr. Bruce Sewell, Apple Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Legal and Government Affairs on April 10th in Beijing. President Li briefed Mr. Sewell on CPAFFC’s forthcoming exchange and cooperation programs with the U.S. and its philanthropic project The Rainbow Bridge. President Li said that CPAFFC has carried out a number of cooperation projects with the U.S. companies which yielded positive social impacts, and the Association would like to explore areas for cooperation with Apple and jointly promote the healthy development of China - US relations and friendly people-to-people exchanges between China and the U.S.

Mr. Bruce Sewell thanked President Li for taking time to meet him. He introduced Apple’s development and future plan in China, and emphasized that while Apple is dedicated to its business growth in China, the company is also committed to fulfilling corporate social responsibility and adapting to the Chinese culture and society. Apple hopes to carry out cooperation with CPAFFC in areas such as environmental protection, workers training and innovation in the future.
