At the invitation of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations(VUFO), President Li Xiaolin led a 5-member CPAFFC delegation to visit Vietnam from January 14th to 17th,2015. President Li paid a courtesy call to President Truong Tan Sang of Vietnam, met Mr.Nguyen Thien Nhan, Chairman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front and Mr.Pham Binh Minh, Vice Premier and Foreign Minister of Vietnam respectively. President Li also had a work meeting with Chairman Vu Xuan Hong of VUFO and attended the celebration activities marking the 65th Anniversary of China-Vietnam Diplomatic Ties hosted by Chinese Embassy in Vietnam and VUFO respectively.

President Li paid a field visit to the construction site of the Vietnam-China Friendship Palace which was inspected and managed by VUFO. She also talked with Vietnamese students who were learning Chinese in Hanoi University and witnessed the signing ceremony of China-Vietnam Education Exchange Fund which was raised by Mr.Lam Kin Chung,a CPAFFC specially-invited council member.

Mr.Hong Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, Vice Chairman of VUFO, accompanied the delegation for the major events.
