On the 2nd July, Madam Li Xiaolin met with Mr. Kevin Rudd, Former Prime Minister of Australia and President of Asia Society Policy Institute.
Madam Li extended welcome to Mr. Kevin Rudd and briefed him upon the people-to-people exchange activities between CPAFFC and institutions from the U.S. They also exchanged ideas on the “Congdu International Summit”, which will be held in Guangdong in October this year.
Mr. Kevin Rudd thanked Madam Li for her time and introduced the existing cooperation between Asia Society Policy Institute, including its related institute, and China. They wish to set up connection with CPAFFC and enhance cooperation in the field of climate change, sustainable development, etc between the two organizations.
Mr. Hao Zhongwei, Deputy Director General of the Department of American and Oceanian Affairs attended the meeting.
