Mme. Li Xiaolin, President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), met with Mr. Choi Moon-soon，President of Governors Association of Korea, Governor of Gangwon Province, and his delegation on July 25th.

President Li Xiaolin said that last year, China-Korea Governors Conference was commonly held in Korea by CPAFFC and Governors Association of Korea, which achieved good result. It is of important significance for promoting healthy development of bilateral relations to strengthen the exchange of local governments between China and Korea. She hoped Choi Moon-soon to continue playing an active role in improving bilateral ties.

Choi Moon-soon introduced the preparations about the 23rd Winter Olympics will be held in Pyeongchang County, Gangwon in February next year. He hoped that Chinese side could give support and assistance. Choi Moon-soon expressed that they are willing to push bilateral relations for improvement through developing the exchanges of the two countries in various fields.

Mr. Sun Xueqing，Director-General of Department of Asian and African Affairs of CPAFFC, Mr. Lv Zhongxie, Counsellor of Korean Embassy in China, attended the meeting.
