On January 16, President Li Xiaolin met with Karen Horting, Global Executive Director and CEO of the Society of Women Engineers(SWE). President Li briefed about the function and work of CPAFFC and hoped to work with SWE to support women’s education and employment.
Karen Horting said SWE was a not-for-profit educational and service organization that empowered global women engineers to advance and succeed.She hoped to strengthen exchanges with CPAFFC to find more cooperative opportunities.
Founded in 1950 and headquartered in Chicago, SWE has over 36,000 individual and corporate members and strives to stimulate women to achieve full potential in the field of engineering.
