On Apr 8th,  CPAFFC President Li Xiaolin  and  Secretary-General Li Xikui met with Mr. Lorenzo Ku, President of China and Philippine Trade Promotion Association.

At the meeting, the both sides discussed on how to better promote the cooperation in fields of local governments and economy between the two counties.

Mr. Ku is one of the pioneers of the cause of China-Philippines Friendship. The CPAFFC awarded him “The People’s Friendship Award”. By his support, China and Philippines have established 3 pairs of  friendship cities. In the last year, he led a delegation of local governments of Philippines to attend The Forum of International Friendship Cities in China.

He said, the exchanges and cooperation of the local governments between the two countries is significant of the development of the friendly relationship. He hoped to work closely with CPAFFC and make continuous contribution to the development of friendly relation for the both countries.

Zhang Juxiang, Director-General of China Service Center for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries was present at the meeting.
