2012 Tianjin International Children’s Culture & Art Festival, co-sponsored by the CPAFFC, China International Culture Association, China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government, was held in Tianjin from July 29 to August 1.

Opening Ceremony of International Children’s Joy Town

Forty art groups from 36 countries and regions and 44 art troupes from 22 Chinese provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, totaling 2000 people, took part in the Festival themed “Peace, Friendship and Future”. Activities during the Festival included the founding ceremony of China National Youth Palace Art Troupe, the opening ceremony of International Children’s Joy City, the unveiling ceremony of Peace Wall, the 6th International Children’s Painting Exhibition, art performances, and the International Children’s Art Development Forum.
