On August 24, President Li Xiaolin met with Mr. Bruce C. Bommarito, Vice President of the International Marketing Team of Caesars Entertainment and discussed about hosting “For Justice and Peace-Photo Exhibition on China-US cooperation in World War II”in Las Vegas. Bommarito expressed strong interests in helping with the preparation work for the exhibition.

President Li Xiaolin met with Michigan Governor Rick Snyder on August 24, 2015. President Li Xiaolin extended a warm welcome to Governor Snyder’s trade mission to China.She briefed the preparatory work CPAFFC is doing on the Third U.S.-China Governors’ Forum and the invitation to WWⅡ veterans to attend the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascists War. She said, CPAFFC has successfully hold two U.S.-China Governors’ Forums to enhance sub-national cooperation between the two countries. She hoped Governor Snyder take part in the Third U.S.-China Governors’ Forum.She also remembered the friendship forged between people of the two countries during WWⅡ. She said, remembering that period of history can benefit the building of a new model of major country relations Governor Snyder thanked CPAFFC for its strong support to Michigan trade mission to China, aimed at expanding practical cooperation between Michigan and China. He also expressed his wish to attend the Third U.S.-China Governors’ Forum, commenting that Michigan is the sister state of Sichuan Province of China and has established sound cooperation with other Chinese provinces and municipalities. He hoped to further strengthen cooperation with Chinese provinces and municipalities by taking part in this event.

At the invitation of the China-United States Exchange Foundation, Li Xiaolin, president of CPAFFC, visited Hong Kong from July 19th to July 21st. She met with Dong Jianhua, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and former chief executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). The main mission of president Li’s visit to Hong Kong is to coordinate things related to “Love China & Love Hong Kong - Chinese Famous Artists’ Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition” (tentative name) which will be held by CPAFFC and Xinhua News Agency Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau during Oct 13th -17th , 2015. On July 21st, president Li met with vice chairman Dong. In the meeting, vice chairman Dong said that, maintaining the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong needs constant effort and much more work. CPAFFC picks a very good time to hold the exhibition. The time of exhibition is just after the Hong Kong’s policy reform, therefore, the exhibition could be welcomed, and helpful for enhancing the communication between Mainland and Hong Kong, President Li appreciated the support from vice chairman Dong, and pointed out that the goal of CPAFFC holding such kind of exhibition is to promote Chinese culture and bring “Positive Energy” to Hong Kong. President Li also visited the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and had a meeting with Tong Xiaolin, vice commissioner of the Commissioner's Office. Vice commissioner Tong expressed that, in present situation, holding high-quality culture activities could be helpful for awakening Chinese traditional culture identity of Hong Kong people, especially Hong Kong young people . The Commissioner's Office will spare no effort to support the exhibition.

  From July 17 to 19 2015, CPAFFC President Li Xiaolin attended the Photo Exhibition on Ho Chi Minh and China-Vietnam Relations and other related activities in Vietnam at the invitation of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO).  During her stay in Vietnam, President Li was present at the meeting between H.E. Mr. Zhang Gaoli, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, and friendship delegates of Vietnam. President Li, together with VUFO Chairman Vu Xuan Hong, also accompanied Zhang Gaoli in his tour of the Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi.   On the same day, Chairman Vu Xuan Hong held friendly talks with President Li on people-to-people exchanges between China and Vietnam. On behalf of VUFO, Chairman Vu awarded President Li Medal for Peace and Friendship among Nations, the highest honor of VUFO, in appreciation of the outstanding contributions made by President Li and CPAFFC in deepening China-Vietnam friendship in past years.  President Li expressed gratitude for being awarded the Medal and said that the CPAFFC is willing to further its cooperation with VUFO in carrying forward the China-Vietnam friendship initiated by older generation of state leaders, promoting people-to-people exchanges in various fields, and making more achievements for the mutual understanding, friendship and well-being of our two peoples. Chinese Ambassador Hong Xiaoyong attended the above activities.

At the invitation of San Marino-China Friendship Association, President Li Xiaolin leads a CPAFFC delegation of 6 people to attend the Theme Day Event of San Marino and China Friendship on Venice Biennale. The event is held in Chinese Pavilion with its theme as Boundaryless Freindship, San Marino and China Together. Andrea Beluzzi and Roberto Venturini, the Captains Regent of San Marino (Head of State) also attend the opening ceremony.

On the 2nd July, Madam Li Xiaolin met with Mr. Kevin Rudd, Former Prime Minister of Australia and President of Asia Society Policy Institute. Madam Li extended welcome to Mr. Kevin Rudd and briefed him upon the people-to-people exchange activities between CPAFFC and institutions from the U.S. They also exchanged ideas on the “Congdu International Summit”, which will be held in Guangdong in October this year. Mr. Kevin Rudd thanked Madam Li for her time and introduced the existing cooperation between Asia Society Policy Institute, including its related institute, and China. They wish to set up connection with CPAFFC and enhance cooperation in the field of climate change, sustainable development, etc between the two organizations. Mr. Hao Zhongwei, Deputy Director General of the Department of American and Oceanian Affairs attended the meeting.

  On July 1st, President Li Xiaolin met with U Sein Win Aung, President of Myanmar-China Friendship Association (MCFA) and former Myanmar Ambassador to China. Vice President Lin Yi of CPAFFC and President Geng Zhiyuan of China-Myanmar Friendship Association attended the meeting. President Li said that, I visited Myanmar in 2013 and was warmly received by MCFA. The China-Myanmar relations have witnessed constant development in recent years. The CPAFFC is willing to join efforts with MCFA to deepen the "paukphaw" friendship between China and Myanmar and promote the construction of “the Belt and Road Initiatives”, so as to realize win-win cooperation. U Sein Win Aung said, the friendship between Myanmar and Chian was fostered by the older generation of out state leaders, including the father of President Li Xiaolin. No matter how the current world situation changes, Myanmar will not change its friendly foreign policy towards China. The MCFA will work with Chinese side as always, to promote cooperation in various fields such as education, culture and youth, in a bid to strengthen the building of connectivity and implement “The Belt and Road Initiatives”.

  On June 30th, President Li Xiaolin met with Mr. Reno Calleja, president of Malta China Friendship Society. The two sides exchanged views on  exchange in the fields of education, local government and religion. President Li briefed Mr. Calleja on CPAFFC’s plan to hold the conference on China - European mini-States cooperation and invited him to attend and sought his suggestions on the conference. Mr. Calleja expressed his support and willingness of attendance, and extended a invitation to President Li for her to visit Malta in 2016. Mr. Shen Xin and Ms. Zhang Ruoning, Deputy Director-Generals of European Department, attended the meeting.

  On June 30, President Li Xiaolin met with Noda Takeshi and his delegation of Asian-African Issues Research Association of Japanese Liberal Democratic Party. President Li Xiaolin extended a warm welcome to Noda Takeshi and his delegation which consists of congressmen. She said, China attaches great importance to the delegation’s visit and Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, met with the delegation on June 29. The communication between the delegation and the Chinese relevant authorities in recent days must have enhanced the mutual understanding and reached positive achievements. China and Japan are neighbors who cannot move house, and interests of both countries are blended. Cooperation with each other conforms to the fundamental interests of the two countries and the two peoples. Cooperation is the only way to reach win-win result. China and Japan are close neighbors who have so many communications with each other, yet the two countries cannot share the same opinion on many issues. Such situation should be deeply considered and well studied. This year is the 70th anniversary of Victory of World Anti-Fascist War and the Chinese People''''s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Japan should follow the spirit of the Four Political Documents between China and Japan, to properly deal with historical issues in a correct attitude. Re-adjustments of Japan''''s security policy are being concerned. Japan taking the road of peaceful development is our wish. CPAFFC would like to enhance the communication with Asian-African Issues Research Association of Japanese Liberal Democratic Party, to work together to improve the relationship between China and Japan.   Noda Takeshi said, the delegation is very glad to meet with Yu Zhengsheng, Chairman of the CPPCC. CPAFFC works for people-to-people communication between Japan and China in long term, and the performance of Crested Ibis is very successful in Japan. Four Political Documents between the two countries are the basis of Japan-China relationship. Japan should seriously reflect on history, and never let historical tragedies happen again. Japan does not regard China as a rival. Moreover, Noda Takeshi expressed that, as a person who has the gene of friendly Japan-China traditional relationship, he will continue to make effort to improve Japan-China relationship. Zhu Dan，Deputy Director-General of Department of Japanese Affairs and Deputy Secretary-General of China-Japan Friendship Association, and Yamamoto Yasushi, the minister of Japanese Embassy to China, also attended the meeting.

On June 29th, CPAFFC President Li Xiaolin met with Dr. Bhoin Bhalakula,President of Thai-Chinese Culture and Economy Association,and his delegation. Ms.Lin Yi, Vice President of CPAFFC attended the meeting. President Li expressed warm welcome to Dr. Bhoin Bhalakula,reviewed the friendly cooperation with Thai-Chinese Culture and Economic Association and hoped the two associations take the opportunity of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of China-ASEAN dialogue  next year to organize a series of activities with Thailand,thus to further ASEAN people’s understanding on “the Belt and Road Initiatives”. Dr. Bhoin Bhalakula highly praised the strategic vision of “the Belt and Road Initiatives” proposed by China, expressed the willingness to actively promote the exchanges in fields of people-to-people, culture and economy between the two countries,and hoped to continue co-hosting the “Thai-Chinese Young Executive Program” with CPAFFC.
